Spill the Tea is a piece created with the question in mind “What makes you happy and why?”. The thing which makes me happy is my nightly cup of tea and gossip with my mum. Whenever I am home from university or work I love nothing more than a catch up with my mum, sometimes it features the rest of my family if they’re about, and we stick the kettle on and get the biscuits out and chat for hours. Often this can go on until the early hours in the morning. It makes me happy because we share how our day has been, any scandals we have heard and joke around as we sip our beverages. I feel so loved and lucky to have such a close family that can sit and share their thoughts so freely.
